Original Line® 3-Position

The "Blue and Improved" 3-Position Original Line® cylinder features permanent grease lubrication. Design enhancements have more than doubled the anticipated service life of this non-repairable stainless steel body cylinder offering three distinct stopping points in its travel.  This double acting cylinder is an example of our industry leading product breadth in non-repairable cylinders.

Flat-I® Multiple Position

The Bimba multiple position FOP Flat-I® is a double acting, single rod end cylinder that provides three positions with just one cylinder.  When air is supplied to Port 1, the cylinder extends to position 1.  When air is supplied to Port 2, the cylinder extends to position 2.  When air is supplied to Port 3, the cylinder is fully retracted.

• Bore sizes:  9/16", 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3”, 4”
• 304 stainless steel body prevents corrosion
• Standard oil impregnated bronze rod bushing
• Stainless piston rod
• Maximum Pressure:  200 PSI (air only)
• Other positions (4, 5, etc.) are available as specials. 

TRD’s 3-Position cylinders consist of two cylinders built as one unit with one rod end, capable of producing three rod positions. By varying the cylinder stroke lengths, stop positions can be suited to any application.

·         3-Position cylinders can be built with any single stage cylinders.

·         Simplifies machine designs by eliminating the need for an additional cylinder to create a third position.

·         The micro-adjust option (MA) can be used with this model to create an adjustable mid-stroke position.
